West Systems epoxy products: Bob Smith, a Florida model sailor and building an EC12, has presented information about these products that is news. Builders in the Class that use resins and epoxies in building and repair should review these products again. Bob has created small packaging that will be very useful and economical. He has done this by preparing kits that can be used in the shop and at the pond. He has also put together a package that contains a small electronic scale to professionally proportion any size batch 4 ounces and below to just a drop.

Having used these products for 12 years in EC12 building, I received a User Manual from West System and found a mountain of information needed on these products for my shop that I did not know. This manual should be a reference document in your shop with other EC12 information. It is free and very good reading.

The Adhesives section in Building will shortly provide further information specific to these products and their use. This and the User Manual will be your guide to proper use of epoxy products demanded in quality building.
